"Petit homme", the last track of this album, is a declaration of love by Jérôme Minière to his then 3-year-old son. It is very simply performed to the piano and yet so touching and beautiful that you would think it was an ancient evergreen. Here Minière shows once more how much love and passion he puts into his songs. "Cœurs" is a long album, but so rich in great songs that it is an entertaining pleasure. He uses the full range between acoustic and electronic arrangements and always exudes a soothing warmth.
