Le Pop 1
Le Pop 1 was simply called "Le Pop" and was not published by Le Pop Musik, but by Melting Pot Music. The two LPM label makers Oliver Fröschke and Rolf Witteler were responsible for the compilation, together with Christian Hoheisel. This cooperation meant a breakthrough for a previously completely unknown generation of French musicians in Germany.
This first compilation of the series was the impetus for a number of changes, especially in the perception of French music in the German-speaking world.
