While "L'entredeux" was still influenced by Joey Burns, who realized his musical vision of the French chanson with Dissard's help, here it is Marianne Dissard who creates an authentic self-portrait as its producer. The songwriter of the majority of the songs is Christian Ravaglioli, an Italian with a classical education and a strong connection to Dissard's former home Tucson, Arizona.
